Lesley is passionate about herbal medicine and loves that with liquid herbs, she can prescribe blends of herbs specfic to the needs of each individual. These are always checked for interactions with any medications you may be taking.

Although we cant out supplement a poor diet, sometimes some extra help is appropriate while we get nutritional changes in place. Lesley prescribes supplements that are of a professional quality available to practitioners. These avoid fillers and other added components that can impede absorption like those that may be found in over the counter supplements. Lesley will always only prescribe what is needed and safe alongside any prescribed medications.

Understanding the need for dietary and lifestyle changes, Lesley has experienced all prescribed modifications for herself, and so is able to offer support, encouragement and understanding to assist with these changes. She believes in actively involving you in all aspects of your care and healing journey, so you remain autonomous for your own health.

It is our dietrary and lifestyle modifications that sustain the progress and benefits that we achieve from treament, long after the need for herbs and supplements has gone. Lesley will guide you through modifications needed specifically for you.

In order to ascertain the underlying cause of the disease state, Lesley may order pathology tests to investigate exactly what is happening on a deeper level. This will often guide treatment more specifically. Tests may include; microbiome testing via stool sample or urine or vaginal secretions, blood tests, urine and saliva samples to test hormones, breath testing to test for small intestinal bacterial overgrowth (SIBO) and many others.
